Cornell Botanic Gardens Lick Brook Gorge, which abuts the Finger Lakes Land Trust's Sweedler Preserve, is accessed by a section of the Finger Lakes Trail. The preserve protects a deep gorge, cut by a stream on the eastern slope of the Cayuga Inlet valley. Breathtaking views of the gorge and its multiple waterfalls can be enjoyed along the trail. Please be aware of signs for trail closures during hunting season.
