The North Rim Trail is approximately 1.5-miles long and runs along the rim of Taughannock Creek gorge. The trail offers a birds-eye perspective of the gorge and the tallest single-drop waterfall east of the Rocky Mountains. Taughannock Falls. The falls overlook and visitors center are along the North Rim Trail, and each offers more excellent views along with interpretation about this remarkable natural resource.
